Excellent macro in wonderful colours and amazing sharpness. Just after a minute I saw the spider. What a fantastic camouflage. Perfect timing. Excellent POV and DOF.
A pity that you don't describe in your note how you came to this great photo.

Hi Fikret,
This is very impressive! In the thumbnail, it looks like a hover fly on a yellow flower. Then, surprise: a killer is ambushed in this innocent flower. I have seen similar behavior here with the same spider. This is an excellent macro, well composed, detailed and exposed with great action caught. Thanks,

A fine macro both of the crab spider and its hoverfly prey taken from a great lateral POV with excellent DOF and sharpness to provide a fine OOF natural BG as well.
Fine lighting and composition too. That 105 mm Sigma is a fine lens.

never seen nothing of similar! a release to frame also because it is not easy to succeed to photograph a spider in action. the many beautiful colors and the details. if I must say the truth, initially I had not seen the spider and I asked to me that strange position for an hover fly :-)
