It is SO good to see you again - you have been missed. A fantastic picture for your return. This Shrike is magnificent with beautiful colors and excellent details of his face, eye and feathers. A wonderful pose as he looks over his shoulder with one foot up on the rock. A perfect background and composition.

I have been absent from the site for a while and missed some lovely postings. I am glad to lay my eyes on some great images, this one of yours being one. I am also glad you have returned. This is a delightful image not only to look at, but also to admire for all the fine detail and for the excellent photography portrayed. Focus, sharpness, point of view and composition is all worth an A+ and it was indeed a pleasure to look at your fine work. I like the neutral background which emphasizes the colours and features of this lovely bird to a great extent. An all around ‘tip-top’ presentation. Your participation is much appreciated.
