A striking portrait with great colour and details captured all in one. This plover has very prominent features and I love the striped collor around its neck and the yellow lined eye. This one with its dirty beak is really beautiful.

Wonderful close portrait of Calidris dubius showing the features of the head with fine sharpnes and colours, including the yellow eye-ring against a fine OOF neutral BG.

Another wonderful capture with sharp details and natural colors. Thanks for your answer, I use the same technique but I think the difference is our lenses, you have 500mm and I have 400mm.
