[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi friends. I know this is a common butterfly for most of you and everything has been written about this species on TN. But this is the first and only one that I ever seen. It is of course a Red Admiral (Vanessa atalanta).
I found it amongst the many wild flowers growing trough the ancient ruins of Ephesus. A beautiful species that has a wingspan of 50mm. It is found throughout the temperate northern hemisphere.

Hi Chris.
You have pictured a very nice scene. It is difficult to say what is more cute flowers or butterfly. However, all together they create a wonderful scene. I like high end quality of the shot. Combination of crisp sharpness of the main subject and blurriness of the BG, lovely colours and composition are amazing./ Well done and TFS.
