What a lovely and well timed in-flight capture of a Pied Avocet.! They're very elegant and you've captured this one so well against the blue sky! We get a few of them that breed here by the harbour every year but it's hard to get close to them and I've rarely seen them in flight as we've obviouly timed our visits wrongly!
