A wonderful close capture of this fine species of high altitude Papaver! Excellent sharpness and beautiful colours against the dark background. The raindrops add to the beauty and the framing is excellent. It's raining here today and there are no flowers left in bloom only colourful leaves!

Poppies are of my favourite flowers and this one is a most beautiful one. I must say that the photographer has done its part in showing it to us in this artistic and fine way. Very pleasing color-combination. The sharpness is just right, not too much.
