[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was in Kultur Park looking for bugs to take pictures but it was too sunny to find a bug:( So I decided to take pictures of flowers:)

This shiny flower is a Taraxacum officinale (also known as Dandelion).

The name Dandelion comes from a Middle French phrase "dent de lion" meaning 'lion's tooth' - based on the deeply toothed edges of the leaves of this weed.

There are a great many sub-species of dandelions. From a distance many species of hawkbits can be mistaken for dandelions. True dandelions have hollow stems and when picked, bleed a milky liquid known as latex.

The flowerhead is made up of lots of small florets packed together in a flat disc.

There are many myths and mysteries about the dandelion, including the belief that picking them will cause incontinence.

The leaves are sometimes used as a salad vegetable and the flowers are used in making dandelion wine.

Hello Serhan,
Fine capture of the dandelion, a sure sign of spring!
The colours are so vivid and you capture the details in the flower well... maybe I'd go even closer here and lt the flower fill the frame..?
Yellow and green work well together, as always...
Regards,

Hi Serhan
This is a very nice capture of the lion’s teeth and very interesting notes to go with it. What intrigued me the most was the wine making. It is amazing what's all being used just to make man chipper.
The composition is fine and the colours are quite well saturated. The DOF is maybe a little shallow as the details are rather soft. It probably was caused by camera movement as the f/5.6 aperture should have been rather sufficient to nail the focus, but the shutter speed at 1/33 of a second obviously asked for a very stable camera. I think you could have slackened a bit on the ISO 50 setting to gain some shutter speed. The exposure was handled very well and it shows good contrast with no OE on the yellow.
Well done and TFS.
Regards
Loot
PS. I have prepared a workshop to address the focus aspect, I hope you like it.
