The White Pelican (Pelecanus onocrotalus) is a bird in the pelican family. It breeds from southeastern Europe through Asia in swamps and shallow lakes. The tree nest is a crude heap of vegetation.
This is a large pelican, at 160cm length and with a 280cm wingspan. It differs from other pelicans by its pure white, a bare pink facial patch around the eye and pinkish legs...
It was in a small zoo near Side town |

Very nice portrait!
Great POV and pose, good details and colours.
Thanks for sharing!
Nice sharp clean portrait.
Excellent POV.
Background is not so natural though, but I actually don't mind much.
Keep up good work, Anton.
Hi Anton,
This is an awesome composition, where you frame the bird in this action very well!
The result is unusual lines, but still pleasing to look at...
Good colours, fine details!
Greetings,

Hi Anton,
Superb close up picture of pelican. Sharp, clear, and nice details. Great dark BG, contrast with white color of the bird. Well captured and nicely composed.
