Small Heath (Coenonympha pamphilus)
This dainty little pale brown and orange butterfly is widespread throughout Cumbria, particularly on the fells of the Lake District, south Cumbria and the Howgills. It is rather less frequently recorded in the Pennines, Solway plain and Border uplands in the north and east of the county. The caterpillars feed on fine grasses and the butterfly is often found on short, sheep-grazed grasslands of the fells, as well as coastal grasslands. Adults can be seen from May through to September..

Very good photo of this common Satyridae Ali!
Excellent sharpness an details!
Very good DOF!
Very good POV!
5* and TFS!

Hi Ali,
Good POV with nice color and detail...
The composition is a bit too centered IMHO.
Also, at 1/125th you should stabilize your camera better to avoid camera shake/blur.
Well done and TFS!

Hello Ali,
I took a look at your macro shots. They are very good in matter of POV and framing, but they are usually very unsharp as for the camera you use. I wonder where's the problem because I'm sure this camera can take very sharp pictures. Maybe the lens isn't good for macro?
Anyway, it's a nice picture, but again, very soft in focus. I think centered composition doesn't help it either.
Overall, well done on this one.

Hi Ali
Very nice dainty little butterfly you captured here.
The composition is fine (although you could have cropped a little more on the right, IMO), the colours are natural, the DOF at f/16 should give very sharp details, but I found it to be a little soft here. Are you using a tri-pod at all? At 1/125 shutter speed and with the lens at 300mm focal length the least bit camera shake will be exaggerated. The lighting/exposure was well controlled.
Good work though, and TFS.
Regards
Loot
