i don't know how but this guy got in to our house without permission. When i met him first in our kitchen, i tried to get him out, but he escaped. Following day i saw him in my pc room, this time i spent more effort to get him out. But he was so obstinate and maybe he was so smart also, that's why i thought about him, he didn't accept all my offers, i pushed the newspaper under his legs, he always run on the newspaper. i know that most of the insects accept my newspaper offer :-) he was jumping sometimes, i saw that this guy could't climb the wall also. In the end i had to put an envelope on him, so he was between the newspaper and envelope like a toasted sandwich and i put him in to the garden from my window.

This is the only shot i took, because i thought that this is not his natural habitat, but then i like this shot and decided to post to TN.

It's some kind of wolf spider...

Wolf spiders:

Wolf Spider, common name for any of a group of ground-dwelling hunting spiders. Wolf spiders occupy nearly every type of terrestrial habitat and include many of the most common and conspicuous spiders. They are particularly abundant in prairie areas and are frequently the most diverse spider group in arctic and alpine areas. There are more than 2000 wolf spider species.

Most wolf spiders have stout bodies and long, thick legs. Their bodies are low to the ground even when walking or running, giving them the appearance of continually being on the prowl. Wolf spiders generally locate their prey by sight, but may also use touch to determine the nature of the prey. They use their front legs to grab prey, then bite and crush it with powerful jawlike mouth parts called chelicerae.

The hunting strategies of wolf spiders are perhaps the most diverse of any spider group. Many are active, wandering hunters during the day in sunny areas along the ground and in vegetation; others hunt at night and remain in silk-lined retreats during the day. Still others live and hunt in aquatic environments, walking on the surface of ponds or on submerged vegetation. Some wolf spiders dig burrows in which they lie in wait for passing insects and other prey. Of the spiders that dig burrows, some add a moveable trap door at the burrow entrance while others build an elevated lookout point.

Wolf Spiders...venomous - non-aggressive
Venom toxicity - the bite of the Wolf Spider is poisonous but not lethal. Although non-aggressive, they bite freely if provoked and should be considered dangerous to humans. The bite may be very painful. First aid and medical attention should be sought as soon as possible, particularly as to children or the elderly.

Scientific classification: Wolf spiders are members of the family Lycosidae, in the spider order Araneae, in the class Arachnida.

Nice shot in nice World of spiders

Hi Ersin !
What an ugly spider, and so close ! I would have run away if this one was in my house ! :-)) Details are awesome on the spider, each hair is sharp and I like these 4 open eyes. The Bg may be not very natural, but it is a beautidul color and makes your spider stand out very nicely. Well done !
Valérie.

Hello Ersin, excllent colors, Bg, POV DOF perfect details, Very crisp, nice work, TFS Kyle

Same exact spider is in India and Nepal. Mine always live in the bathroom, and stay in the same place night after night. They are as big as my hand sometimes. Only 2 have ever chased me. Those I throw outside. One came back several times under the door in India, he went straight after me. I am rather large for prey, must have had bad eyes.....
