[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I faund this tit in a juniper forest at 1600m. altitude. It was a quite dry place, if you can find a water source you can see and shoot many birds around the water like this one. Birds around this source prefer to drink the muddy water under two junipers which makes a perfect shade for them.
Atthe same place I saw sombre, long tailed tits, rock nuthatch, krüper's nuthatch and many more.

Coal Tit; Parus ater :
En. Coal Tit, Da. Sortmejse, Du. Zwarte Mees, Fi. Kuusitiainen, Fr. Mésange noire, Ge. Tannenmeise, It. Cincia mora, No. Svartmeis, Sp. Carbonero garrapinos, Sw. Svartmes

The Coal Tit is another perky little character found mainly but not exclusively in coniferous woodland. Several species of tit have a bold black and white face pattern but only the Coal Tit has this neat white stripe down its nape. The cold grey back colour is another distinguishing feature.

Breeds and winters in woodlands, particularly coniferous, and occurs in winter in gardens and hedgerows.

A common resident, except in Shetland, the Orkneys and the Hebrides. Prefers coniferous woodlands, but can also be found in deciduous ones.

Widespread and numerous in most of Europe.

12-17 million breeding pairs throughout Europe.

Hi Naki

What a splendid and simple composition! Really beautiful!
I like the POV, sharpness and colors a lot. Also great are the DOF - leaving that great OOF BG, the exposure and the framing!
Lovely work!
