Hello Sebnem!

This is one of the best and moody shots of mallards I've ever seen! Love the POV and DOF. Birds are perfectly sharp, in good, interesting poses, colorfull. Water around also is very good, especially bubbles which turns in blurred spots on BG. I really like it my friend!

This is really a marvelous photo, the drops of rain that created all these air bubbles are really wonderful and the water come alive. I really love the colors captured in the ducks and how the stand out from its gray surrounding. A great low POV and a perfect DOF.

Call it 3-D effect or whatever, but I see the "meloncholy mallards" like I'm seeing them with my own eyes, Sebnem.
The blurred raindrops both in the foreground and background give that impression of virtual reality. There is this strip at the middle of the image where they 'swim' frozen in mid-action.
And they do look somewhat thoughtful, so your caption does the mood of the picture full justice.
Those pearlish grey bubbles in the sharp focus area on the surface of water look like tiny UFOs. I can feel them drifting for a moment and then bursting.
Could I ask a question: Why did you use high speed continuous shooting mode?

This is a simply FANTASTIC shot! WOW!
So moody and so beautiful all together.
The low POV does wonders to the perspective, the DOF is impeccable and blurres nicely both the FG and the BG and the details are super-sharp.
Besides that, the colors are just lovely, but most of all the bubbles on the water crate such an unique atmosphere that give this picture its "extra something" that all the photographers crave for...and you managed to find it here.
The pose of the ducks are also wonderful and add to the overall superb composition.

Merhaba Sebnem... perfecto uso de la profundidad de campo para captar una maravillosa escena con gran punto de vista y un encuadre acorde para la presentación.
El exacto foco sobre ambas aves y el desenfoque anterior y posterior está realmente muy bien logrado con delicados colores y muy buena agudeza a pesar de la baja velocidad de la captura.

Merhaba Sebnem... perfect use of the field depth to capture a wonderful scene with great point of view and a framing in agreement for the presentation.
The exact focus on both birds and the front and rear out of focus is really very well achieved with delicate colors and very good sharpness in spite of the slow speed of the capture.

What a stunning capture of the moment with the very interesting and remarkable effects of the rain striking the water surface causing all those lovely little bubbles. The two ducks and especially those yellow beaks strike a brilliant contrast to the darkish water mass.

Hi Sebnem, this is excellent. The raindrops look so real here, your speed was perfect. you have an excellent low point of view to put put the viewer right into the action with these two ducks. Your depth of field with your 5.6 aperture worked very well here. You see the ducks but then the rain on the water gradually fades away into a blur. Very nicely done.
