Black Vulture
 |

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Black Vultures (Aegypius monachus) are marvellous birds. They are very impressive at flight especially when they are close to you... Like a flying carpet...
In Turkey, the species is under strict protection and became a popular animal with increased public awareness after a documentary film "giant wings" by Ece Soydam, the director.
This is my first photo in TN...

Welcome!
Nice first shot!
Good details and a great species to begin with.
This seems to be the case with lots of species only being taken into consideration after a movie is made depicting their lives. It is a good thing since this shows that all is not lost.
Welcome and I hope you will enjoy your stay here on TN!

Hi Cem
Welcome to TN.
This is a very good in-flight shot. You have isolated the bird well from the background. Well done! :-)

Merhaba,
Superb full-wing flight shot. The vulture is well-placed in the frame. Background looks very good with a hint of central Anatolian plains. Hope to see more of your work.
Best wishes,
Hakan
