Great idea here. Even though it's blurry I like the dreamlike quality it gives.

This is really nice. I can't help but wonder if you sharpened it, would it look better. Nice to see someone put something in front of the moon though. It really is a great look.

Fantastic concept !
A little less on sharpness. Though, a very sharp image would lose its dreaminess.
I do not find a use of the PL-C filter here. You may try using a softening filter though.
Keeping the moon right in the centre of the frame may also give a beautiful halo around the moon. You may have to adjust your zoom lens appropriately to get a good halo.
These are just few ideas that came to my mind after seeing this lovely image.
