Salam Adil,
A fine capture of what I think is a species of Pincertail (Paragomphus).
As your camera was not completely at right-angles to this dragonfly a higher aperture might have given you more complete sharpness, but its a fine shot and the BG is superb.

I have been to Hatta fort and the surrounding wadis, Adil. It is an interesting area, no doubt. I am happy to know that you were able to find wild life there. When I visited this place in 2005, I was not even a member on TN :).
This is a nice capture of the Pincertail with fine details and rich colours.

Assl.Alaikkum Adil,

A wonderful macro capture from Hatta.Looks like a clubtail.I like the palette colours where brown is predominant and goes well with your subject's own colours.
The image is well picked up showing good details on the head and abdomen.I wonder a slightly different DoF could have given a sharper view of the tailend and the wings!
Never-the-less it is a capture quite admirable for its beauty.
