[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Sapanca Lake is located on a tectonic hole, which is situated between Izmit Bay and Adapazari Meadow and runs parallel to Iznik Lake. Lake Sapanca is one of the few lakes in Turkey, which provides drinking water, but it is exposed to heavy urbanization because of its natural beauty and its proximity to the metropolitan Istanbul. Natural forest lands in catchment areas have been vanishing quickly. There is pollution from highways near the coast and also from waste water from settlement areas around the lake. A negative effect on the trophic level of the lake has been observed. (from globalnature.org)

Hi Recep

Lovely reflective colours and sunset tones while the silhouettes of the trees gave some additional visual stimulus. The vertical composition worked well and I like the fact that you trimmed the real trees while you retained their full mirror images in the reflections.

Well done and TFS.

PS1. Oops, I was so focussed on the photo that I only realised you did not provide any notes with your posting after I already added the critique and wanted to read the notes. You know the score my friend and even if it is just a paragraph it is more acceptable than a totally blank page.

PS2. Great stuff Recep. It is good to see that you updated your posting and provided some interesting notes. Thanks for that positive attitude.
