Aristolochia paecilantha is a rather rare plant of northern Israel, it s range continues northwards to up to S Turkey. I have posted pictures of this species in the past, but only this year I managed to get a good one. We found it common in the shade of the famous Mas'ade oak forest in the northern Golan Heights, 1100m.
