Northern Lights over Campbellton, N.B.

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
It was an amazing night for Northern Lights.
The sun has just "burped" a few days before this causing northern lights all over the place. This picture was taken with a canon camera I no longer have using a 15 second shutter speed, 80-100 iso.
I never shoot more than 100 iso at night, so I just use a longer shutter to capture the light which in the long run causes less noise in the picture. |

Hi Justin,
A great capture of this light,I have seen it a few times from my vessel on the norwegian coast, mostly the colors were white and as I was on a moving vessel unfortunatly not possible to capture, you did a great job, well done and TFS
Paul
The Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis?) have always fascinated me, Justin.
Although your picture does not have a larger spectrum of colors these lights are known for, it is still a lovely image. The dark shapes of trees in the foreground intensify the experience of looking at this unique phenomenon.
Welcome to TN.
