[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Known for the largest tides in the world, the Bay of Fundy, and Fundy National Park, is also the home to some beautiful Atlantic seacoast. Here are the rocks and pines that inhabit that part of the wrold.

Scanned from a 35mm negative. Some dust removed by cloning, a contrast adjustment, and a sharpen.

RP: I've been going back to some of the first photos I scanned about a year and a half ago, to find out how much more PP I can do to bring them out better. Here I used Evelynn's crop, a grad filter applied to the sky, levels adjusted some dust cloned out.

Hi Mike. I thought I recognized this image. Did you start with the original or work on the TN version? I think you lost some quality and sharpness. It might be better if the image is cropped a lot to make it smaller than 800px ????? I wonder if the sharpening halos are visible on your monitor.

Hello Mike,
This shot sure brings back great memories.
Many many years ago, my husband and I driove to the Bay of Fundy to witness a total solar eclipse. It was an awesome experience.
I remember the tides at the Bay of Fundy, the eerie towers that disappear under the water twice a day.
Thanks for this great scene.

Hi Mike,

A nice image of the seacoast and of the sea, the photo has a good composition, DOF and nice colors. Thanks for sharing.

Pierre

Beautiful place
Marvelous colors
Definition is low though. I guess something went wrong during scanning and PP work.
(the definition can't be that low on the original 35mm. If the ISO was high the silver grains should show)
