| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
“Stormy Sea” is the name of this photograph and it was taken today at Cape Spear. The wind chill was below zero and winds were gusting over 70km an hour. Trying to mimic a fast film, I shot this scene at 1/1,000 of a second. I also use a black and white neutral density filter 0.6.
As you can see, over the years the rocks are shaped by the waves.
I tried to use a slow shutter speed but by a flimsy tripod almost blew away. |
