Eating small fish

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
“Eating small fish” is the name of this photograph taken at Cape Spear. The small fish are called capelin and they often roll on the beaches. In fact, we enjoyed a feed off capelin as well. They are delicious small white fish with a sweet taste and apparently these whales love the flavor.
This photograph was taken from one of the lookouts a cape Spear using a 300 MM lens in action mode. The shutter speed was 1/800, and the F. stop was 5.6.
I believe these are minke whales and are considered to be reasonable abundant.
They appear to be having a big feed.

Quite a minimalist shot, Jim. I like the lovely tones of blue in the water, and its texture. The whales' texture contrasts that of the ocean very nicely.
