Sun in Clouds

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
“Sun in Clouds” is the name of this photograph which was taken today at Cape Spear. While walking along the trail, at a very swift pace thanks to my walking partner, I noticed the sunlight shining on the water between the immense clouds. Quickly I took a shot and quickly tried to catch up to my partner without success. Instead I held my camera and kept looking for magic moments.
The tree on the left was purposely kept in the photograph to give some perspective.
The Atlantic Ocean can be a wonderful sight. When I took the photograph I tried to keep the horizon straight.
Luckily there were no sun flares.

Hi Jim,
Great photo photo with a stunning effect of shooting into the sun. The silver like reflection of the sun on the ocean is beautiful. The black silhoutte tree and cliff are well framed, and do give some depth to the photo. Do watch out for the horizon, it really needs to run straight. A tilt to the left is needed. Nice set of clouds and colors in the sky.
TFS,
Niek
