[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
“Spring and Fog” is the name of this photograph it was taken today on a foggy walk in Kilbride. To be more specific, it was on the old road to Petty Harbor.
This old marsh which has been snow covered all winter is now starting to regenerate with new flowers. To me it is a sign of spring. Even though it was terribly foggy, the scenery was wonderful despite the mist.
In this particular photo, the reflection of the tree in the water was very pronounced.
This photograph was level adjusted, smart sharpened and saved for the web.

Hi Jim,
What a beautiful scenery and so well captured. The fog makes this a very moody but pleasant photo. I love the reflection in the lake and the treeline in the b/g. Looks like the sun needs to do its best to transform this in a colofull environment.
TFS,
Niek

Very nice shot, with a foggy and a bit scary atmosphere. The reflection of this naked tree in the water is great. Nice natural colors. Good details and excellent composition. I love foggy days very much, and you have captured the mood of these days very well.
Valérie.
