“Grooming” is the name of this photograph and it was taken this evening in Bowring Park. The weather was very overcast, gloomy and humid. The swans were busy grooming themselves.
In this shot I tried to capture the details in the feathers but it may have been too dark. In hindsight a flash would be very helpful.
This photograph was cropped, level adjusted, sharpened, framed and saved for the web. |

Think you did a good job catching the details in the feathering. I know how hard that can be. With all the swans here, they frequently become subjects for my photographic endeavors.. I've found that spot metering works best for me. Very nice POV, some folks don't like the 'overhead' view... but I don't mind it.
