“Yellow Eyes” is the name of this photo which was taken at Quidi Vidi Lake yesterday. I believe this is on an immature were black backed gull. Gulls are very hard to correctly identify when they are immature.
The yellow eyes looked very intense and colorful. They are very common around the lake during most of the year.
I wanted to get a good depth of field on this dark, cloudy day so I use the following camera parameter in aperture mode:
-I S. O. 800
-F- stop 6.3 which increases the DOF.
-Focal length 85 MM
-Shutter speed 1/800
This photo was shot in raw, converted to tiff, cropped, smart sharpened, framed, converted to JPEG and saved for the web. |
