[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
“Winter River” is the name of this photo which was taken today on a snowy walk in the woods. It is difficult to believe it is not winter officially.
This walk near the river has some breath taking scenery. This particular spot is a five minutes walk from our front door.

Hi Jim,
this sure is an attractive place you have photoed,so much so I wish I could be there to see it with my own eyes. The flow of the open water and the trees covered in snow frame the “Winter River” very well and the colour is natural.A nicely detailed shot and thanks for sharing it with us all. Bob

A lovely capture you have here, I like your composition, and how you have captured the scene so naturally. You have chosen the perfect shutter speed to make that flwing water look natural, that isn't always easy to do! I am also privlidged with having such a place just outside the door! It is so nice to be able to walk for miles in the forest and not have to return to a car and drive back to town! Anyways, well captured!

Hi Jim!

I see that you also like cold sceneries. I prefer this one to the b&w one. I believe that only a few subjects are ideal for b&w. In this landscape colors - even if there are only few - are important. The whole picture reflects the winter atmosphere very well.

Kind regards

Markus
