...is what I heard coming up a pathway. It took a while
to find the source of that tapping. This sharp beaked
little fellow did not give me a choise of his loaction
as on the power poles.Which he liked as he flew from one to another to search for a bite to eat. This bird is a woodpecker, family ? |

Interesting shot (though not so detailed)
Note that tappinp is a way to get insects coming out of the branches, but is also a territorial display. The second is probably the one applying there. Metallic poles do more noise than wood and therefore they sometimes preferentially use them.
