Hallo Sky,
der Pelz dieses Bärenspinners kommt sehr gut zum Ausdruck, ebenso sind die feingekämmten Fühler gut dargestellt. Zudem sieht man auch die geradezu 'spektakuläre Minimalzeichnug' der Flügel - das i-Tüpfelchen. Der grüne Hintergrund macht sich hier besonders gut.

A splendid macro shot here, taken with an extensive DOF and therefore with loads of sharp details.
I really like the textures here - especially on the antennae - as well as the spot-on exposure which carefully took care of the bright white.
The colors are lovely and the composition is great.

Lovely close macro of the Virginian Tiger Moth. The genus Spilosoma also occurs in Europe where the two species are known as Ermine moths. Fine sharpness, excellent DOF and pleasing composition.
