What a great pose! This is really a superb catch, Sky!
The POV here is excellent and the DOF works very well to blurr the BG nicely.

This is the first woodpecker I have seen NOT on a tree but on a flat surface, examining the food in front of it, looking quite undecided about which seed to pick first :-)!

berührendes Dokument dieses Spechts, für den hier mitten im harten Winter gut gesorgt wird. Stimmungsvolle und schwungvoll lebendige Aufnahme aus sehr gut gewähltem tiefen Blickwinkel. Danke auch für die guten Empfehlungen für passendes Vogelfutter, weiss nun auch, wie Rindertalg auf englisch heißt.
