Hello Sky

Someone once said that this "is worth 2 in the bush",I guess they meant 2 points.Neat shot,some of us chase them around the woods trying to get a clear shot of them,you have them come to you.A well focused ,nicely composed shot.TFS

none of my woodpeckers are ever this friendly... one is really annoying me at the moment - they are tapping out their territory on wooden posts, only 'mine' has realised that the aerial attatched to the top of a large chimney stack vibrates far better... so weekend lie-ins are not really lie-ins at all!

Anyhow - great shot, it helps sometimes to see the size of these birds and this one really shows how small this woodpecker is (compared to what I am used to in the UK that is).
