[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The first signs of Spring appeared here in southern Ontario and with it the first migratory birds in Wabukayne Park. Golden-crowned Kinglet is one of them. Next - the warblers...

Golden-crowned Kinglet
Regulus satrapa Order PASSERIFORMES - Family REGULIDAE

A tiny, continuously active bird, the Golden-crowned Kinglet is most frequently found in coniferous woods. Despite being barely larger than a hummingbird, the kinglet winters northward to Canada and Alaska.

Hello Mario,

I like this very much!
Your pov has wonderful contact with the bird's face allowing us to appreciate the sharp eye contact, the small beak shape and the the plummage texture.
The dof is a little narrow to get good texture throughout but that is a minor point on such a close, well composed shot.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Mario,
wonder how you took this wonderfull picture of this nervous little bird!
congratulations
Pierre
