Peeking Squirrel!

Eastern Gray Squirrel or Fox Squirrel?
A common mammal of the neighborhood, it is seen scurrying on parapets and on top of houses, on pine trees and maples. I spent a pleasant – and a lot – amount of time photographing and video-shooting this fellow. Here is one of her stance where she was curiously and slyly gave me a glance.
I turned to Google and looked up this Squirrel, and came close to the Fox Squirrel – Sciurus niger or most probably an Eastern Gray Squirrel - Sciurus carolinensis.
I can’t be sure of its identification since I am only beginning to explore the biodiversity of Canada.
The photograph was taken on a windy evening. |

Hello Aniruddha! Wonderful squirrel, amazing scene, good POV and composition. Very good contrast, nice natural light and colours. Well done!
