[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Ischnura verticalis, Eastern Forktail, Female.
A very common damselfly seen near creeks, lakes etc.
Nothing more to say about it. Taken with the 20D and 70-200mm L and 36mm ext. tube.
I cannot get down very low to the ground for a better POV as my back is not up to par. I will be having fusion done in Sept. Sorry folks.
Thanks for looking.

Mike

Hi Mike,
nice macro! Colorfull and well composed.
Lovelly details on the head,
Andrea

Good to see you Mr. Sir Mike,
Don't worry about getting down lower for a better POV, the grass will grow :)
The OOF tail and legs aren't a problem for me as the rest of the damselfly is pin sharp
Good detail and colours. exposure and lighting are good. Good POV and composition. BG is spot on.

Thanks for posting, Have a great weekend.

Hi Mike,
a pretty damsel, I like the metallic and the diagonal position in this shot. Wonderful 3D-effect here, thanks

What a lovely and interesting dameselfly that you have well captured ! The composition in diagonal is pleasant. Colors, exposure, BG, DOF and sharpness are very good !
Take care of your back... Bravo Mike and thanks for sharing.

Wow Mike,

This is a very good picture. There are no nits here, and I feel special mention must be made of the composition. Well done.

Jan-Hendrik

Hi Mike,
Great capture and well done on the composition and details :)
Excellent color and light, with your subject well seen from the BG..
Well done mf..

PS - I used the 20mm ext. tube at the Cockerell B-fly Center with the 400mm. Worked quite well to reel 'em in a bit.

Very good shot of this litle odonata!
Very good on colours, POV and details!
Also a very good BG too!
5* and TFS!

Detail, exposure, color and comp are right on the money.

Hi Mike,
a lovely shot and for a man with a bad back it's a great POV.
