Hi Mike, good job on this one. Looks a lot like our Ishnura elegans, except for the green on the thorax. The composition is extremely pleasant, and the technique is flawless.

in these days, there are so many damsels all around, but all so hectic and most of them always fly and don't let me come close.
You had luck, this was a friendly guy.

Hello Myke,

Your pov is not so bad at all! The way you photographied it, we can see all the different components of this damselfly and the wondeful natural colors describing her. I also like your composition with that diagonal formed by the insect on the leaf. Your pov can also show us the shadows of the insect which is great! Very nice bg and great picture, Myke! TFS,

Beautiful, Mike. A great macro. I can't imagine a better angle, so maybe your stooping days are over! In fact I find many TN people are such fans of diagonal compositions, you probably just won them over!
