Hey, this is great Mike.
I love the flower too, which looks as though it is about to drop as the stem looks broken.
A seriously cool shot.
Brilliant!

Hello Mike,
Wonderful picture of those 2 sweet damselfly mating. You got a fantastic pov having all the subjects well focused! The green bg is lovely and enhance so much the insects! Excellent composition and the colors looks so natural! I wonder how those insects recognize each other? It can be so easy to mate with other species having the same shape! Great picture and TFS,
Michel

Mike, I am jalous because I never see "Libellules" in love in real, only on TN ;-) It is beautiful close-up. Composition in diagonal is nice. Sharpness, BG and DOF are great.
Congratulations and TFS.

Nice capture, Mike. I really like the diagonal composition. Like Tippecanoe, I would clone out the dead flower. In this image, you have two elements, which complement each other and create a strong diagonal line: the joint insects and the flower. Notice how the angle of the stem of the flower works with the angular shape of bluets. To me, the dead flower softens (distracts from) that connection. Just the way I see it! Smile.
