Definitely an unusual POV, at first from the thumbnail I thought the whole thing was a broken branch however viewing the 100% image is a whole different story. Excellent DOF really brings the subject out well. :)

I see what you mean Mike the details here are very nice and crisp, which end of the lens zoom were you using and how far away from the subject and how much of a crop did you make?
The colours of this teneral damselfly blend it into the the surroundings great camouflage. TFS yours Robert

I like it a lot. The detail is superbly sharp and clear.
Exposure and lighting are spot on. I don't believe the colours could be any better than you have captured. Well composed.
Great POV, perfect DOF and well framed.
I'm sure you'll be having a lot of fun with this new toy.
