European Skipper? Is it on holiday? :-) Very nice picture Mike, I think you have really settled in to your kit - good consistent results and a style becoming apparent. Lovely colours and composition. Well done.

Nicely done, Mike. Incredible details on the flower (including the pollen). I've noticed that you seem to be catching all your recent critters on this same flower. Is this flower a bug magnet, do you have a blind there or just leave your camera on a tripod and fire it from the house?

Besides, great composition, pov and very nice soft bg that constrasts with the flower. I like sharpness too.

Like the previous posting, this one is quite stunning in your crispness of focus. It may be an abundant creature, but good captures of it are not. Excellent composition and nicely finished with an attractive frame.

Another photo where the colour of the flowe adds so much. Would look great as a poster in todays modern rooms with this sort of colour scheme! DOF is great, you've got the head of the skipper and the sentre of the flower dead right, yet nicely blurred background.
I would maybe have turned the exposure up just a notch.
