This is a nice composition of your Grey Heron and his beautiful and colourful surroundings. The yellow flowers in the background are a nice contrast to the grey colour of the Heron. Well done.

this has got some nice atmospheric feeling. you could have avoided the dry tree in the left and composed with the beautiful flower beds in the background for more impact. what to include and what not is the key to good photography.TFS.

Hi Corine
This is a great capture of this Blue Heron. Very colorful surroundings and I like the reflections in the water. Very well done. There is only one thing I would have done diffident is the way you cropped it. I did a work shop on it and cropped it so the subject is looking in to the scene instead of out. And I tried to take out the branch across his bill. I hope you like it. All in all it a very nice shot and thanks for sharing.

What a wonderful colorful scene with great light. He certainly posed for you nicely. I agree with some of the other comments. The bare tree seems to just make the composition more busy/confusing. I probably would have cropped to a square. I also did a workshop.
