Sunset at the Marina
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
My aim here is to capture the setting sun without overexposing and still have some detail of the boats moored at the marina.
There is no other way to accomplish this other than an HDR panorama. This photo of the sunset at the marina was made from 7 vertical frames at 3 different exposures.
Taken at Col. Samuel Smith Park in Toronto.
Please see the large version as well to appreciate the scenery more. Thanks |

Hallo Conrado
How beautiful can nature be? This is so wonderful to look at and has a soothing and calming effect on the whole being. The assortment of colours in the sky and the reflection thereof in the water is marvellous. The silhouettes of the boats in the distance just add to this feeling of serenity and peace. I can almost hear the silence and feel the tranquillity. Thanks for sharing this beautiful scenery. Best regards
Anna
Hi Conrado,
Wow this is a absolute gem of a shot taken by a great photographer. Well done on the this magnificent composition and capture. The exposure, detail and DOF is just perfect.
The sun's rays make for a very warm and color rich photo.
How did your use all the frames together if you don't mind me asking? You could maybe do a workshop for us to show how?
Great stuff
and TFS
Regards
Chris
