This is truely magnificent! What an amazing landscape shot!
The lighting here...everywhere...is simply outstanding! It all looks so nicely balanced - no over or under-exposure anywhere, despite the fact that it's really easy in such cases to do so.
The colors (especially of the clouds) are most charming and they create a wonderful sort-of "contrast" between the sky and the ground. Really great usage of the Tabacco filter here!
The details everywhere are super sharp and very nicely defined, the DOF is exceptional and the POV is excellent.
Splendid work!!!

Another spectacular photo from that day. The color contrast between the cool landscape and the warm sky is just great. I really love the details and the exposure on the sky. I am not so sure about the patch of ice in the left bottom.

I really like your landscape work, these last 3 images are just superb. I'm guessing you've used a tobacco filter or something similar here, it's a great effect, quite subtle and produces a wonderful colour contrast. Nicely framed/composed and great detail throughout, a wonderful image.

I have to admit that I am not a big fan of tobacco filters... but other than that the image is superb (IMHO) I just love the light on the snow and the water. Really nice!

Hi Joseph,

I love this shot - the contrast between the snow, sunlight reflections and the tobacco sky is extremely effective here. My only very minor niggle is the small light patch of rock showing on the bottom edge, ever so slightly distracting, but that aside, it is a beautiful image. Well done.
