Hi JYB,
It is a Tit (family Paridae). You have two possible Paridae near your home. This one is Poecile atricapilla (Black-capped Chickadee, Fr.: Mésange à tête noire), an adult. If you see one that resembles this one, but with brown where this one has black, with less white in the wing feathers, and with brown on the shoulders between the wings, then that is the other Tit, and it is called Poecile hudsonica (Boreal Chickadee, Fr.: Mésange à tête brune).

Hello Jean,

Nice action shot from this little bird. Natural colours. Sharp with fine details. This is a specific attitude for this bird. In Holland we have theme also. They are in autumn and wintertime never alone. Nice compo. POV, BG and DOF are oké. Regards and TFS BOB

This is a really neat photo. Something you might expect to find on a calendar. The horizontal bird really makes makes you stop and take a longer look, so I would say A+ on the composition. The extra room you've allowed on the right was a great choice. Congrats on great shot.
