I do like the way the head dress and the tail form a C.

Great photo of our State(Ohio)bird. Love the way his wind blown crest is so high on his head, gives him that punk rocker look. Beautiful detail and color along with just the right exposure makes this a fine image indeed!! TFS.

tu as beaucoup de superbes photos d'oiseaux,
mais celle-là et ta plus belle et ta meilleure photo d'oiseau
je dirais même l'une des plus belles photos de Cardinal rouge mâle,
tout est parfait dans ta photo, surtout ce superbe focus netteté et détails,
et que dire de ce regard si charmeur et à la fois rusé de cet bel oiseau,
seule critique Michel, plus facile à écrire que dans le feu de l'action
j'aurais juste donné moins de place en haut et un peu plusss en bas
car en bas le cadrage je trouve un tout petit peu trop sérré, TFS beaucoup
