[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
hello, here is another shot of the Red-winged Blackbird
in his takeoff with a panning effect, photo shot at the
nature park near my home, my last photo too of
the Red-winged Blackbird with panning effect
was shot at that same nature park,

i noticed that 1001 of the critiques that i gived
are clicked to be USEFUL, i'll be very honest with you
I AM VERY HAPPY, because when i started in TN
i did'nt kno how to do critiques on photos

and to improve my photography skills, i did'nt learn
just by receiving critiques, i learned too by,
at my turn giving critiques on your photos,

i did some more searches and found new notes
on this bird (to not always give the same notes)

from the Birds of Nova Scotia website (Nova Scotia is
Canadian province in the Atlantic maritime),
here is an intersting notes on the Red-winged Blackbird :

http://museum.gov.ns.ca/mnh/nature/nsbirds/bns0388.htm

« It is customary to find the first spring male already dwelling
among the cattails where his nest will soon be located.
A large marsh attracts more than one nesting pair,
creating rivalry over territorial nesting rights. Each male
defends his territory zealously, and this explains why
he is so often seen at nesting time in hot pursuit of
a would-be trespasser. When the redwings return in spring,
the cattail swale, a dreary, deserted waste since the birds'
departure the summer before, comes to life once more.
Over the lush new growth the dark-coloured males appear
here and there, each proclaiming ownership of his particular
homesite with an often-repeated konk-kar-ree, konk-kar-ree,
the notes ending in an ascending trill. To bird-lovers living nearby,
the redwing's return to its summer home is a pleasing event.

No one could easily mistake a male Red-winged Blackbird
for any other bird, but the sombre-coloured female
is less easily recognized. However, no other similar species
has her well-defined stripes on its underparts. »

Merci

Asbed

I can see you are still having fun with this technique. Have you tried different shutter speeds to try out some variations?

Now at least those who read Forum will know EXACTLY what you mean by this..and it is late for me...tonight..I am tired...some days are like that. I am only 63 but I have lived 3-4 lives already....and my body hurts...but I want you to know that I see your statement was from your heart...and I cannot be the only one who sees that. THIS is what Trek Nature should be...it is learning from each other..and from critiquing each other and from coming to know each other and their insides..their souls... I can see inside of your soul all the way across this continent and through now two countries... You take pictures of nature. You love nature. You learn from nature. You learn from others and in this way you also TEACH! That is what is so cool about people like you Asbed.....You wear your heart on your sleeve....May you be richly Blessed...

May many could not follow but it has a charm to do so and achieve a shot like this, it is a beautiful style of panning with a good NOTE too, TFS.

Hi Asbed

You are really developing this technique. Great detail on the blackbird and nice streaked BG.

James

Hi Asbed, Realyy the results of your experiments are going on perfectly. And this shot is also superb! You sure that frozed this bird with good criteria my friend. Well done! Have a nice ner week!
Cheers,

Bayram

Bonjour Asbed,

Grazie e complimenti.

Hi Asbed,

This Blackbird is wonderful with superb details, beautiful colors, and a great profile. You got it just right! I still love the panning effect. I saw the first one here this summer but he didn't hang around long enough for a picture and never came back.

Hi Asbed

The panning motion is very interesting and something I haven't tried. I love the pose of the bird, it matches the panning motion to show speed

Bonjour Asbed,

Une bonne prise de vue de ce carouge à épaulette, la photo a une bonne composition, netteté et de belles couleurs.
Bonne journée et au revoir....JP

Dear Asbed,
This is one of the finest panning done by you. The black bird stands out well with great details, sharpness & colors. Bravo.
Regards-Subhash

Hello Asbed. Panning is a tough job for me but you have managed this pretty well. Sharp focus on the bird and beautiful blurry background. Good light and well done. Best regards. Jusni
