[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is another one of those photos tha tI've been playing around with in Adobe Lightroom as of late. The sky was always problematic to me in this photo (I forgot all my filters on this trip). The sky still isn't where I'm happy with it, so alot of it has been cropped out, but I'm fairly happy with the rest of it.

The trail to Grizzly Lake used to go more along the creek which you see below, but the thick willow makes for very difficult travel, so the new trail rises above the dense brush of the valley and travels along mostly rock and light brush.
We spent two nights camping at this lake.

Great Composition! The stream on the left helps to draw one's eye into the photo. Beautiful light.

Hello Tim!
This is really fantastic picture! :) I like the composition with yellow-green valley and dark mountains. Also the lake in the middle on picture looks nice. The contrast is very good, also the DOF is ok.
TFS and best regards,
Radomir

Hi Tim,
with this slide you remind us viewers of two things (at least): 1) there are some really good photographers out there and 2) Canada holds some superlative landscapes. You directed some sunrays at the right spot and in so doing caught a "magic moment". Chapeau!
Cheers, Dietrich

Hi Tim,
The sky has been mentioned by you. It has a few OE spots, but the darker parts are to my liking. The rest of the photo is just awesome. How the green slopes and the rocky mountains meet at the wonderful looking lake is very beautiful. Details and lighting are just amazing.
TFS,
Niek

I hadn't realized how rugged and precipitous the mountains around Dawson City are. The look like Patagonia. I'm so glad you posted these. They are great.
