[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
It was a bit of a miserable day hiking out along the North Klondike River, but even so I had to get the camera out of the pack to catch this interesting stormy shot in the distance.
It was quite amazing how much fall colour there is in the north.

Hi Tim,
This is another outstanding landscape, the colors are amazing. I have here that September is a great month to go up north as there are fewer bugs and if this color is any indication I may head north this fall, any tips.

Hello Tim

Beautiful colors and composition,
Wonderful shot, Welldone.

This is another great shot of the northern autumn. Looks to me like that is the best time to be there. I have driven the Alcan several times but not in autumn. I really like the overlapping hills and mountains in your shot. I would like to see the whole image brightened up a bit...not so much that it doesn't look like a stormy day but the bottom half of the picture seems to lack detail because it is so dark. I can see there is detail there but in real life those berry bushes close to the camera would have more definition. I love the sunny, yellow patch in the distance and the sweeping rain shower. It's a super scene.
