[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Yes this is Tombstone Mtn in Yukon Territory with some colourful ground willow and crowberry turning their brilliant fall shades of yellow and red.
Tombstone Mtn never really did clear up for us; always kinda broody it seemed, but I suppose that's fitting for it anyway.

Hi Tim,
the autumn colors are fantastic and Mt Tombstone in the distant seem a long walk away, if you even want to go there. It doesn't sound really inviting. Great landscape!

Hello Tim,
Another superb capture from your Yukon trip. Your definately sell me on fall in the Yukon. This posting has superb color once again and a beautiful composition to go with it.

You sure have given me a different view of the Tombstone area. Fall is beautiful, cloudy or not. We drove the Dempster Highway the first day it was open about 27 years ago. About 10 cars made it to Inuvik and only a couple made it back without long delays. We were one of them. There were amazing complications with the makeshift ferries and the road surface. The whole adventure makes quite a tale....and your photos make me want to go back. Thanks for sharing this amazing area.

Hi Tim,
Wonderful colors and a beautiful clouded sky. the flatness compared with the high rising mountains is what struck me most. Just amazing to see such a difference.

Niek
