[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The reason for the title is that this was taken at the trailhead of our Tombstone Range trip and was one of my first photos. The fall colours were just beginning and the rains from the previous day gave way to clearing skies with some lingering cloud as you see here.
This was hand-held so I purposely kept my shutter speed pretty high in order to make a steady shot.

There are so many colours and textures here, the mist just adds another dimensions. Just beautiful! I can smell the forest.

Very nice colors in this fine capture, the low cloud gives it a real nice mood.

I do love the compositions you came up with on your Tombstone trip. The colors, clouds and light are wonderful. I think this would sharpen up a bit more despite the wide aperture. I tried it and there was improvement in sharpness.

Hi Tim,
The combination of the fresh green colors and the fall colors with the low hanging cloud makes for a beautiful scenery. I have to agree with Evelynn on the sharpness, it does look a little soft.
