[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
These were some interesting cliff formations in the Talus Lake area in central Yukon Territory, Canada.
The late afternoon lighting enhanced the features and the patchy shadows from the cloud also was a nice bonus.

Hi Tim,
These nice rock formations give this composition many intriguing lines. The composition is fantastic as normal for Tim.

The subject of all photography is "light", and that is surely true here. This is another great shot of those rugged Yukon peaks. How I wish I had had my current photo equipment when I was last there. I doubt I will ever get that far north again. I am enjoying these photos a lot! I agree, I like the cloudy sky and the shadows it casts.

Hello Tim,
This landscape looks really scary! It must be an unforgetable experience to be there. I like a lot this patcy light and the high contrasts.
Best greetings and TFS!
Michal

Very nice catch of mountain detail, Tim. Love the multiple contrast here: clouds, last light of the day and the shadows... Very well executed.

Hi Tim,
this photo and many of the others that you have uploaded have made me want to go to the Yukon and see for myself what you have. There is nothing in the way of critique I can really offer up on this photo, there simply is nothing about it that I don't like.Well done. Bob

Magnificient place Tim.TFS

Hi Tim,
I like the moody feel of this photo. The soft light and large shades combined with the jagged edge is just perfect. The photo does look a little soft in some places.
TFS,
Niek

Hello Tim,
This is a dramatic scenery! I like this wild mood created by this great lightning that you render so well. Details and exposure as well as composition and DOF are amazing. This is a great post! Thanks,
Claudine
