Klondike Beaver Pond

On our way out along the North Klondike River we encountered a few small ponds where beavers have made dams. You can see a beaver lodge here in the far left of the photo.
Not much in the way of branches here to work with, just a bunch of willow bush.
As you can see, the fall colours were in full force. |

Hello Tim,
Those tones of colors are really stunning. I think that this cloudy weather helped to bring them out… This DOF, POV and composition with those mountains in BG are wonderful. I also like those herbs (and flowers?)in FG. Next time, will you catch the beaver too :) I saw one last summer but it was active very early in the morning at sunrise or late afternoon just before sunset :) This is a beautiful scenery. Thanks,
