At what elevation? My experence with this guys is that they are impossible to photograph, well done. I lived in Alaska for six years and spent a lot of time hiking , only saw them at an impossible distance. Well captured.

Hi Eric
Great to see this Mountain goat in its natural habitat (on the mountain) and you obviously had to make some climb to get to this vantage point. I'm not sure how you got this shot, but I suspect you had to pull a couple of stunts to manage this. I suspect these animals will vamoose as quickly as their legs could carry them with any human approaching so, well done.
The engagement with the eye contact gives this shot a positive mark. The details are nice and sharp and you managed excellently to capture the sense of the angle of the mountain side and the ruggedness of the terrain.
